5 goals that will ensure your personal growth, success and happiness

Success is like a mirage that we spend all our lives chasing, and it seems that whenever we get close to it, it has disappeared and reappeared on the horizon, and after several futile attempts we begin to ask: will we ever reach that dream?

But the situation must not be the case. Jim Rohn once said: "Success is only a few simple rules that are practiced every day."

The pursuit and persistence of these ten personal goals will put you on the right path to a successful and happy life.

1- Commitment to growth, learning, and development:

Whether you want to build an ideal relationship, establish a successful business, or master a new skill, you must have the desire to learn and to learn more in order to achieve greater progress.

Just as the body needs a healthy diet, the mind needs a system that provides it with useful information, as getting the mind to acquire new ideas and information is essential for the individual's development, so devote at least 15-30 minutes each day to reading materials that illuminate your mind and enrich your information.

Not only do reading for entertainment but read in order to stay informed and be a person with a broader horizon, see content that is applicable and directly related to your goals and aspirations.

The materials you read can include books, magazines, newspapers, and online articles, and you can also listen to podcasts and audiobooks if you prefer learning through listening.

2- Setting goals:

You cannot achieve success without knowing where you are, and when you have a vision of where you want to reach it will make it easier for you to create a road map and prepare a solid business plan.

If it seems that setting a vision that charts the features of an individual’s life as a whole is impractical, divide this vision into plans that span either 10 years, or 5 years, or a year, or any other time period that suits you.

Based on the vision, set long-term goals and short-term goals, and make sure that the goals are logical, that you inspire great ideas, and that you are obligated to continue on your path, whatever the obstacles facing you.

3- Developing realistic strategies:

In order to achieve the goals and turn them into a tangible reality, you must develop a strategy for dividing resources such as time, money, effort, and relationships. The strategy must include a comprehensive proactive evaluation process to determine the things that you really need to achieve the goals.

Create a detailed plan based on the evaluation and prepare a strategy to implement it, which will enable you to develop a comprehensive realistic vision of the things you need to achieve the goals know the amount of effort needed to do this more accurately.

Without the evaluation process, you can easily underestimate the amount of necessary work and resources needed and fail.

4- Be flexible and patient:

Although focusing attention on personal growth and development is important, you must also prepare for unexpected changes. Always remember the ultimate goal, but keep flexibility regarding the way to reach the goal and the timing of reaching it, and you should not expect that the path towards achieving the goal will remain constant because there will be many changes and transformations along the way.

When you break free from expectations, you will free yourself from the stress and anxiety you feel and the disappointment you feel when faced with a sudden event.

Some of the best practices that have made my acceptance of submission easier are meditation, deep breathing techniques, maintaining a mental presence, and a sense of humor.

5- Making physical safety a priority:

Your body is the vehicle you carry your life on, and it will be difficult to reach the fullest potential if you are always unhappy and sick.

Many diseases, epidemics, and mood strikes are considered, and lack of strength is a direct result of mismanagement of lifestyle, as science has proven that our cognitive ability and emotional well-being are closely related to our physical condition.

Make sure to follow the basic principles that ensure you live a healthy life, such as eating healthy and nutritious food, getting enough sleep, and following an active lifestyle that keeps you fit and strong.
